TIJPEN FAQ

• TIJ Ballpoint Pen: Capless design, press to extend the refill for writing. Made entirely of titanium alloy.
• TIJ Rollerball Pen: Capped design, remove cap to write with the internal refill. Made entirely of titanium alloy.
• TIJ Fountain Pen: Capped design, remove cap to write using a fountain pen nib and ink. Made entirely of titanium alloy.
• Boutique Fountain Pen: Capped design using nib and ink, but made with diverse materials like copper, wood, leather, or shell.

The TIJ Pen L series includes: Classic, Ruler, Engraved, Heart Sutra, Great Compassion Mantra, Ti-Fiber, and Flash Texture styles.

The structure and function are identical for all styles. The main difference lies in the surface texture and processing of the grip section:

• Classic: Features the original matte texture of titanium alloy without special patterns.
• Other styles: Use high-intensity laser engraving to create various patterns, text, or special textures (like carbon fiber imitation).

The internal transmission mechanism and refill fixing mechanism are the same for all TIJ ballpoint pens. The differences lie in: barrel length, interchangeable grip, and presence of a clip, which also affects the compatible refill length.

Note: TIJ Pen S and SS are both 133mm long; the difference is the SS has a shorter clip. TIJ Pen PRO/PRO+/ULTRA have adjustable lengths.

This is a patented design unique to the TIJ Fountain Pen series, switched via the pin on top of the cap:

• Airtight Mode (Pin Inserted): Seals the air vent. Ideal for long periods of disuse or when using quick-drying ink, locking in moisture to prevent ink from drying.
• Breathing Mode (Pin Removed): Opens ventilation. Ideal for frequent writers. Balances air pressure via a "triple moisture lock" structure, preventing ink leakage caused by negative pressure when uncapping.

TIJ pens (Ballpoint/Rollerball) support hundreds of gel and ballpoint refills on the market. Any refill with a diameter between 5.5mm and 6.3mm can be used.

Common compatible models: PILOT G2, Uni-ball Signo, Zebra Sarasa, Schmidt 888, etc.

For thinner refills (diameter 2.8mm - 5.5mm), we recommend purchasing the "Thin Refill Upgrade Kit" to ensure stability and zero wobble.

Anodizing is an additional process. Please follow these steps:

1. Add your preferred TIJ Pen model to the cart.
2. Find the "Handmade Anodizing Service" item in the shop and add it to the cart.
3. Checkout together, and we will process the anodizing for that pen.

• Lifetime Warranty: Titanium alloy main body parts (non-artificial damage).
• 1-Year Warranty: Moving mechanism parts (e.g., click mechanism, clip).
• Scratch Repair: Original matte finish models can be repaired using 3M sponge sandpaper. Do NOT sand anodized models or areas with laser engraving.
